LIL BUCK at FONDATION LOUIS VUITTON
Lil Buck – the Memphis jookin star, also famous for his forays into ballet – takes us on a tiptoed visit of the exhibition “Icons of Modern Art. The Shchukin Collection”, his first improv dance in a museum. Directed by British filmmaker Andrew Margetson, Buck reacts to the Fondation’s architecture with his signature moves. Dancing to a music score by Euvgeni and Sasha Galperine, he makes his sneakers squeak on the concrete floor, floats on the escalators and finally takes wing in the Matisse and Picasso rooms.
